Music is Life. Writing is a journey. Together it creates Stories.

"Goodnight, Travel Well"

"Goodnight, Travel Well"

Jules watches the train depart. She continues to wave long after it’s already gone. She dials a phone that goes immediately to voicemail.

Message Machine: Please leave a message after the beep. *beep*

Jules: (sighs) He’s gone. I know you’re on a flight for work, but I needed to talk to someone and a voicemail will do. It’s like “everything [I] loved and every time [I tried]” to forget comes down to me crying while “everybody’s watching.” It sucks because I can see them and I know they’re listening to me because their faces are changing as I cry harder. You would tell me that “everybody [cries].” Who cares? I don’t care about everybody.

You’d be mad, but I asked him to “stay.” I pleaded for him not to “leave me.”

Jules has gotten to her car. She turns it on, but sits watching traffic.

I shouldn’t drive right now, but I also need to get home. I’ll just watch others pull out of the parking lot. Hey! (sarcastically) “Don’t signal now,” jerk. When did people stop driving properly? It sucks that you’re on your trip because I could use one of our girly girl nights right now. “There’s nothing I can say” and “there’s nothing I can do now” to get him to stay because “there’s nothing I can say” and “there’s nothing we can do now.” I’m not making sense. I’ll talk to you when you get back “goodnight, travel well.”
