"Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll"

"Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll"

Michaela and Harrison are in a record store. Michaela is dressed in a worn tshirt, dark skinny jeans, a leather jacket, and converse. Harrison is in light wash jeans, a button down, and sneakers. They contrast.

Harrison: Did you find what you were looking for yet?

Michaela: No. And you can’t rush this. It may take another hour, I don’t know if I’ll find it.

Harrison: I’m going to be over here. (pointing to a rack of magazines)

Michaela: Cool. (to herself) Why can’t I find this. The guy said they had it the other day.

Harrison: (“flipping through a thrift store magazine”) Did you know that “she plays the drums” now?

Michaela: And “I’m on tambourine.” You can “bet your bottom dollar” that I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Harrison: It’s a magazine about “indie rock’n’roll... It’s all I need.” I’ll be over here.

Michaela: Ohhhh! “In a clutch” I found it! (waves an album, excitedly)

Harrison: Oh thank god. Can we go?

Michaela: (teasing) You said I could go anywhere tonight. It was right down the street from where we had dinner. I know you don’t like this type of thing. Thank you for entertaining me. I’m ready to check out.
