Bunny and Fiya are in the kitchen. Bunny is finishing up her now well-known chocolate cake. They are putting the final decorations on the cake before taking it to a friend's place for a party.

Fiya: I can't believe you're moving out next month.

Bunny: It. Is. Time. I need to "change address." I love you, but this pandemic has driven me to the edge. Also, I found that apartment at the best deal that anyone could get during this crazy rush on housing prices too.

Fiya: You never have to apologize. You know where and when to "draw a line." It's going to feel so empty without you.

Bunny: My parents think I'm crazy and tonight I'll have to "show my friends the silver line."

Fiya: It's still early days with the bakery, but you're killing it. You need the bigger kitchen and the space. Who cares what everyone is going to say tonight. Your cake will shut them up. How's your family taking your entrepreneurial decision?

Bunny: Eh. I "call my family" and we chat a bit, but they're in denial. Mostly I call "just to know they're there" and doing okay and they know the same about me.

Fiya: Now that the pandemic is over, no more mandated masks, free range roaming again outside our apartment, what are you going to do?

Bunny: I will be "sleeping in late like I used to."

Fiya: Even with the business?

Bunny: I am "crossing my fingers like I used to" too. I will work hard, but I will also be who I am and that is a person who knows when to wake up and that's after nine thirty. What's the thing you'll be doing?

Fiya: I'm not ready to really get out there so I'm "waiting inside like I used to."

Bunny: Okay okay. What about when you do feel comfortable later this year?

Fiya: I will be "avoiding big crowds like I used to!"

Bunny: That's so boring. You are going to grow old in this apartment.

Fiya: Rude.

They start to giggle.

Fiya: But probably true. I'm going to come hang at your place so get ready for that. I'll "crawl the field" or whatever it takes to get there.

Bunny: and I'll "let you in” immediately.

Fiya: Ready?

Bunny nods and picks up the cake. They head to the door, turn off the lights, and the sound of a lock clicks.

End.
