Music is Life. Writing is a journey. Together it creates Stories.

"You're Somebody Else"

"You're Somebody Else"

Jem is getting ready for a night on the town when her best friend Chelse comes into her room.

Chelse: What's going on with you?

Jem: This again? No. You interrogated me last week. You're supposed to drop it.

Chelse: I can't.

Jem: Why not?

Chelse: "Well, you look like yourself, but you're somebody else."

Jem: *rolls eyes* That doesn't make sense. I'm me. You're you. The only thing that has changed is the year. We’re in a new year.

Chelse: No. I mean sure but… your changes “only”… "it ain't on the surface."

Jem: This is the same conversation.

Chelse: "Well you talk like yourself."

Jem: Then what does it matter?

Chelse: You don't understand. Sure you talk like yourself but that's not what I hear… "No, I hear someone else though" and that person isn't good. "Now you're making me nervous."

Jem: I'm making you nervous?! That's rich. You come in with these veiled issues and cannot just say what it is that you actually want. Is there anything else or are you done?

Chelse: You need to go back and be who you were.
